The Cookout / 01 / 02  /  Collaborative book w/ artist Mary Toscano  / Paese dei Balocchi  / P-d-B  / 03  / Collaborative wallpaper w/ Mary Toscano  /    04  / In Breach  / 05  / 06   Oh Nancy is an national art collective based out of Boston that provides a vehicle for artists--presenting them with a narrative structure that facilitates   collaboration and multiple-authorship. Using contradiction, symbolism, and coincidence histories are created and layered—anchored in this narrative blueprint.   The story is a mythical and satirical portrait of Americana that examines fanaticism and the complexities of the American hero. Artists respond to different   facets of the story, organically building it along the way, resulting in exhibitions that read much like a multi-media graphic novel.   "The Hideout" focuses on the domestic environment in the Oh Nancy narrative of heroism and sacrifice. Consisting primarily of artists from Boston and Salt   Lake City this show began with the wonderful folks at the Visual Art Institute and GARFO (SLC). "The Hideout" will be traveling in the spring to The   Fourth Wall Project (Boston).
